Safe Passage empowers the poorest at-risk children, whose families live in the Guatemala City garbage dump community, by creating opportunities and fostering dignity through the power of education. Safe Passage is a US-registered 501(c)(3) organization. Within a safe and caring environment, the organization provides hundreds of children with a comprehensive and integrated program that fosters hope, good health, educational achievement, self-sufficiency, self esteem, and confidence.
