God led me to the work of Bethany Christian Services.  Through my work, God has made me more grateful for His blessings.

Many of the women I have counseled have no families, no support, no one to lean on. 

• Imagine being pregnant with no one to share the joy, the fear, etc.   In some cases, I have been the only support in the delivery room.
• Imagine being a single mom without someone by you to take the children for just an hour. Are you stressed yet? 

These are generalities of the experiences of the women I work with day in and day out.  Adoption is a tough decision.  The courageousness of these women to place their child with a family knowing it would be the best for the child is a decision that I  can only have the sincerest admiration.

I was excited to join the Bethany team in 2009 because I could not only continue my work serving women in need, but could also expand my work to a global level.  Across the world, Bethany is working to move children from orphanages and into homes through intercountry adoption or sponsorships.  In one week 11 children with down's syndrome were referred to Bethany and by the end of the week 3 were matched with forever families! 

I am lucky to be a part of this great mission. In doing this work, everyday I am grateful to be surrounded by people like you.  So, I ask for your help to make a difference in the lives of women and children without families.
