Every Orphans Hope
For my birthday this year, consider buying me a chicken...yes a chicken.
An organization I worked with in Zambia in 2007 called Every Orphans Hope started a campaign called chicks4orphans. Through this campaign the orphan homes will be able to be self-sustaining by raising and selling chickens in the local market.
This is an organization that I trust and believe in. I personally know the founder Gary Schneider and believe in the vision that God has placed in his heart to care for the orphans in Zambia. The orphan home model includes 8 children and one widow. Because of Every Orphans Hope, children who once were orphans, are now a part of a loving family and are very aware that there is a God that loves them.
Please join me in celebrating my life today and celebrating the lives of these children.
Each chicken is $4 dollars. So maybe today instead of a latte or other comfort you would buy me a present, a chicken.
All of you know how close the issue of orphans is to my heart. Thank you so much for making an investment in my life and the lives of these children.
All my love.
Rachel.
