Hi friends!

I figured since I'm running the Chicago Marathon in October, it's not just enough to run.  I feel empowered to run with a purpose.  I am running for World Vision through our team Iowans for Africa.  I, along with other members from Orchard Hill Church, have a goal to raise money for the poverty-stricken people of Africa....especially the children!  I will start with a small monetary goal in hopes that one day I will be able to go visit!  Hey, I'm all about big dreams!

World Vision works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.
