Barnstable Friends (Quaker) Meeting is a team walking for 23rd Annual Cape Walk to End Homelessness. Cape Cod, in all its wealth and splendor, remains one of the most popular vacation spots on the planet. Yet, so many of its own suffer in poverty and despair. In different ways we are taught that how we treat the poor is a reflection on who we are as human beings. We, Barnstable Friends Meeting, wish to be part of a community that helps and respects people in need by giving them a hand up. In this way they have an opportunity to be productive and share the gifts and light that the Creator gives to them and we all become richer and more enlightened. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
