My name is Rachel Laing and at the end of August I will be moving to New Orleans to spend a year working as a Teaching Assistant at Success Prep Academy, a K-4 Charter School.  I am extremely excited to begin my year of service work, but before I do I need your help to raise funds to support this experience.  

So where will your donation go exactly?  It goes to AVODAH to help support not only myself but all 65 corps members and the anti-poverty organizations we work for in New Orleans, New York, Chicago and Washington DC.  It also helps finance education and training programs about social change and Judaism to continue to spread AVODAH's mission of fighting poverty and spurring social change.
