Thank you for visiting our page!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Our family goal this year was to keep climbing, and keep moving ahead. We all ppushed through, and as difficult as it has been for me the Mom, it has been a difficult year for Henry, but he has worked HARDER than the rest of us and it shows.
This is our first year with a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome, our first year of therapies, and IEPs. We have learned a lot.
The walk this year is important to us for a lot of reasons, there is the fundraising aspect, but I do want Henry to know he is not ALONE, we as a family are not alone. We want to walk with other families, meet them, hear them, and know we are not alone, and he is not alone.
Thank you so much,
Henry's Mom
When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares. ~Henri Nouwen
