Project Wezesha - Tanzania
Hujambo!
Project Wezesha is a nonprofit organization committed to increasing access to education for children in rural Tanzania. Currently we have two programs in the Kigoma region of Western Tanzania.
Programs
Amahoro Secondary School - Project Wezesha is working with the village of Mgaraganza to build the first secondary school for children in five incorporated villages. The school will have 16 classrooms, 2 offices and a library.
Secondary School Scholarship Program - Project Wezesha supports children in need with school fees and uniforms. Currently we have 15 children in our program.
Wezesha means Empower in Kiswahili. Through Project Wezesha, we hope to empower entire communities through increased access to education.
