I'm grateful for every heartbeat that will get me across the finish line at Black Diamond and am excited at the opportunity the race presents to support the Hope Heart Institute.

I was shocked to find out that Heart Disease kills more men and women each year than every cancer combined.  And many of those deaths can be prevented with some education on proper nutrition, exercise, and living a healthy lifestyle.  

The Hope educates our kids about those things - they are trying to ensure that the generations that follow ours will be healthier & live longer...
