I am raising money to help sponsor a Nicaraguan soccer team as my mitzvah project for my Bat-Mitzvah. The team is made up of girls ages 14-17. They have been training now for 6 months and they are hoping to make it to the 2010 Women's National League. Sponsoring them will give them a caring coach who shows up on a regular basis, equipment, such as balls and shoes, and access to nutrition and health information.
