Tonight, there are thousands of homeless youth that can’t dream of a future when the streets of Atlanta are their reality. Covenant House Georgia services homeless and at-risk youth through providing crisis care and on-going support for young people in need of a safe haven.

The Covenant House Georgia kids are remarkable young people who all have tremendous stories of adversity and triumph. Some have been off the streets and with CHGA for months, others for just a few nights.

I am writing to you today because I need your help. Kids are starving... starving for what you give your kids, grandkids and loved ones. Love. Security. Hugs. Warmth. Family rituals. A place in our hearts. I believe if we love them - and give them a chance to love us back - together we can make a miracle happen.

Young people come to Covenant House Georgia because they have nowhere else to go. They are our country’s most troubled kids, many with a past full of poverty, abuse and neglect. With so many issues threatening the safety and well-being of our most vulnerable youth, there is a tremendous need for your help. Together, lets show these kids God's love in the form of a hot shower, clean clothes and a delicious dinner ... and hope for a brighter future, one that begins with a bed with clean sheets and a soft pillow.
