Special Olympics North Carolina is one of the largest Special Olympics programs in the world with more than 38,000 registered athletes who train and compete in year-round programs in 19 different sports.
This year I am forming a team to run in the North Carolina Marathon in High Point NC on November 17, 2012, yes I will be running too. Running 26.2 miles is a long way and the last few miles are always difficult. However when I think of what each of our Special Olympians over come daily then I know I can run all day for them.
