In Memory of Veronica Pomeroy

This page is set up in memory of Veronica Pomeroy. Veronica passed away Friday, October 10, 2008. Her battle with Cystic Fibrosis is over, and she is at peace.

Veronica's expressed wishes were that friends and family, in lieu of flowers, donate to Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse. As a child, Veronica was an integral part of the Operation Christmas Child team as a kid spokesperson, collecting thousands of shoe box gifts for hurting children around the world and motivating many to action for this project. Veronica and her mom, Robin, hand-delivered shoe box gifts to children in Mexico City in 1997 and Nicaragua in 1998.

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child, the world's largest Christmas project, has collected and hand-delivered more than 61 million shoe box gifts to hurting kids in some 130 countries.
