The Green and Bowen clan is taking on Cincinnati's "The Flying Pig" 10K on May 5th in an effort to raise money towards pancreatic cancer research.  Pancreatic cancer has effected our family personally with approximately an average of 40,000 people being diagnosed every year. 

Ray Green was diagnosed with Stage III Pancreatic Cancer on October 24th, 2011 and began chemo treatments right before Christmas with hopes to be able to undergo surgery for removing the tumor. He selflessly contributed towards finding a cure by taking time to donate blood at each doctor's visit for The James Cancer Center research team to learn more.  On February 20, 2012 he lost his battle against pancreatic cancer and we lost a great loved one!  Now it's our turn to do what we can to help raise money and awareness for pancreatic cancer in memory of such a wonderful and greatly missed person!

Although pancreatic cancer has the highest fatality rate, it unfortunately receives the least amount of funding out of all cancer research. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
