Hi everyone!  Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.  As you know by now, I decided to run the Pittsburgh Marathon this May.  I figured if I'm going to get myself into this, I may as well run it for a good cause.  After researching a TON of charities, I decided to on The Pittsburgh Promise.

I decided to run for this particular charity just because everyone deserves an opportunity to have a great education.  (There's a short description of the charity to the left.)  I had the opportunity to get an awesome education and now I'm working at an amazing place where I'm on my way to my making my professional dreams come true!  It really makes me sad to know that some kids out there don't have the support I have always had (and always will).  Even worse, I couldn't imagine being a parent and not being able to support my child in chasing down their dreams in college.  I'm a firm believer in the whole "what comes around, goes around," so I'm doing what little I can do to help these families.  And I mean, lets face it, it's not really that hard for everyone to spend $5 less at the bar or grocery store and give it to someone who really needs it.

My goal is to raise at least $500, but I am working as hard as I can to raise even more.  Keep in mind that every dollar counts, so even if you can only spare a few bucks, it's still a few bucks towards an amazing charity.
