Hello all!

Thank you for visiting my 10 Days of NYWC Fundraising Page! With your help, I hope to raise as many $10 donations as possible between October 22-31, because ten dollars can go a long way – even in New York City!

As some of you know, I lead a free creative writing workshop through NYWC for formerly incarcerated women who are going back to school at an organization called College and Community Fellowship. We meet once a week in Manhattan to write together and share our work. I have been so inspired by these talented women, and feel really lucky that I get to work with them. The writing workshop I lead is just one of dozens of amazing free workshops we offer throughout the city.

This $10 fundraising drive will benefit the NY Writers Coalition’s free creative writing programs by providing: Pens and notebooks for NYC youth. Transportation to and from reading events. Writing workshops for homeless, incarcerated, or disabled individuals. Your donation will continue to make this happen.
