Hi, my name is Bennie.  I wanted to walk in the Cortland Fall Festival Parade to raise money for TAILS Humane Society, but "they" said I couldn't because I'm a CAT.  Talk about unfair.  I just love a good parade!

But my mom got dressed up like a cat and walked in the parade for me. (Don't you wish there were pictures of that?  She'd probably pay YOU to get them back!)  Anyway, I still get to raise money for my most favorite animal shelter in the whole wide world--TAILS!!  They're my favorite because mom is their President, and they make sure all the cats and dogs and rabbits that get adopted from them have been spayed or neutered and microchipped.  That way they don't wander away from home and get lost and end up living out in the cold like I did for a long time.(See my ears? That's from frost-bite.)  And my little sister Ruby came from there.  If it wasn't for TAILS she wouldn't have made it.  She was only three days old when her mom got hit by a car and someone brought her to the shelter.  So MY mom fed her with a baby bottle and turned her into a spoiled brat.  But I still love her a lot. 

If you check below, I have a video you can watch about TAILS that will tell you all the good work they do (if you have trouble opening it, click on full view to watch).  It has nice music and very cute pictures.  Except that there aren't any pictures of me.   Hmmmmm.  Have to fix that next time ......
