On March 25th, I will be participating in the inaugural Security 5K Charity Run at the ISC West in Las Vegas.

Those that know me well can confirm that up until recently, I was not the fittest person in the world. A couple of years ago, I decided to take better care of myself through smarter diet choices and increased exercising. I've managed to lose 60+ lbs over the last couple of years and have never felt better.

The Security 5K Charity Run is a unique opportunity not only in terms of personal challenge but also because all the money raised goes to help children in need. For the last month, I've been actively pounding the pavement getting prepared for this event.
