Each year hundreds of thousands of people benefit from donated tissue. I am one of those people!  After having a car accident, I was a patient at three hospitals and endured months of physical therapy.  However, my neck pain kept getting worse and my body mobility was completely diminished. 

Even the standard medical devices used for this type of injury would not address my condition.  I was afraid to move my head since it was not being supported properly which put me in a life threatening situation. My doctor told me that the only solution would be to have a tissue transplant.  Shortly after the bone implant, I was pain free and felt like the accident never happened! 

Because of this gift of tissue donation, I am able to live life passionately! I am thankful for being able to live freely again!  And, by forming this team, I get the opportunity to honor those families that donate organs and tissues.
