Sam has been involved with Special Olympics for two years and he enjoys the ability to play sports that he loves with friends his own age and ability level. It has been a great opportunity to show off his athletic skills and have fun, too. He is proud of being a part of North East and being a good student at Horace Greely High School. Also, he's pleased to be able to play soccer, basketball, and softball with great teams and kids. He thinks that the World Games will be a great opportunity to see another country, play softball and win a medal. Sam has played AYSO soccer for 7 years and was manager of the high school JV baseball and the Jr high football teams. He enjoys collecting baseball cards, playing on the computer, basketball and baseball.
