And away we go with our 6th annual Steps for Students. We had a great time last year. Friends and family joined us in this 5K Run/Walk to help raise money for St. Rose of Lima. So we invite you to come out and join us, St. Rose families and all other schools from the Archdiocese to help raise money that will benefit St. Rose on Saturday Feb. 19, 2011. All money pledged, even your registration fee, goes directly back to the school to benefit the children.

We continue to be amazed on how much Michael has learned at St. Rose. The teachers there are outstanding. Once again he has tested above his grade level. Math is still his favorite subject. He's always eager to learn more. He's even learned his multiplication facts even though this has not yet been introduced in class. And golf continues to be his favorite sport. He absolutely LOVES it. He gives up his video game time the second he hears that daddy is going to the driving range. He's also enjoyed learning how to play the flutophone. He will be performing at the Christmas concert.  We are so proud of him.
