Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page! This year has been especially difficult for our organization. With the tough economic times, we have seen record numbers of dogs and cats surrendered, or more typically, abandoned on our premises. It is heartbreaking to see an animal so scared and bewildered, wondering what has happened and what’s next.
So far this year, we have had 27 dogs and 156 cats and kittens abandoned at Faithful Friends. This is an additional 183 more animals than we planned to care for this year. This is an additional $55,800 in expenses added to our already stretched to the limit budget.
Faithful Friends really needs your support to continue to help neglected, abused, and abandoned pets. Faithful Friends is a no kill animal shelter that supports animals in the community and throughout Delaware. We offer services to help families stay together with their pets even in these hard economic times. We offer low cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinics, TNR program, Pet Therapy, a free Community Food Bank, and Adoption services.
