I'm bowling again this year to raise money to support my match with my Little Sister, Shaleah! Each match cost the Big Brothers Big Sisters agency $500 a year to support. The past several years I have raised $500 through Bowl for Kids' Sake to financially support my match.
Shaleah and I have been matched for over four years. While most weeks we hang out at my house (eat supper, play games, be entertained by Macyn) we have also recently attended a Danger Football game, went to a Tri-City Storm Hockey game, went to the Circus and most recently made cakeballs for Shaleah's birthday.
SHALEAH'S STORY: Shaleah lives with her Grandma, Grandpa, sister, and little brother. Her mom used to live with them but got kicked out by Gma and Gpa. In January, her Grandpa and mom were in a bad car accident together. Shaleah's Grandpa broke his back. He's home and recovering well but unable to drive for several months. Her mom was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and is currently in jail. Shaleah's 16 year old sister is bi-polar and always seems to be causing stress in the family. School is very difficult for Shaleah, nothing comes easy to her.
I don't have all the answers for Shaleah, I can't make things easy on her, but I hope I can show her anything is possible if she really puts her mind to it!
Please support me by making a donation. It is GREATLY appreciated!
