UPDATE 04/06/2012:
We are happy to announce that Team Vegas has almost reached the required goal / minimum amount necessary for our team to participate in this years Police Unity Tour !!

Our next event will be Friday April 13th at Sams Town Hotel with the band Crossfire!!

Thank you to all those who have donated and who volunteered their time helping with various fundraising events !!

Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

Rich, other members of Team Vegas, and other riders from all across the world, will be riding their bicycles together from the opening ceremony in New Jersey to the closing ceremony in Washington D.C. at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in May of 2012.

I am very proud, honored, and privileged to be participating in this amazing event. This will be my third year and it is difficult to even put it into words how I feel about the event. Both previous years were completely eye opening and really shows a whole different perspective of what it is, that we do, day in and day out.

More information about each of our Officers from LVMPD that we ride for and always remember can be found here:

The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial & Museum.

Please support the riders who have made the commitment to ride from New Jersey to Washington D.C. in support of their fallen brothers and sisters in law enforcement.

Thank you very much!

The ride will cover more than 300 miles -- over the course of just a few days!!

It's for a great cause and to read more about it, please visit the main two websites at:

Each member, rider, and support, must raise a minimum of $1750.00.

I look forward to riding in this event for the third year in a row, and again for many years to follow.

Thank you again for your support -- and please don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

Stay safe everyone,
Rich Best
