Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I'm walking the Big Lake half marathon to raise money for the New Hampshire Make-A-Wish Foundation. I had hoped to run it, but I tore the meniscus in my left knee, so I can't run.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation helps children with life-threatening medical conditions. For a seriously ill child, a granted wish can be the chance to escape the world of hospitals and treatments. It can rekindle a child's hope for the future or replenish the strength to cope with an illness. And it can be a welcome respite for the whole family during a challenging time.
I've been lucky enough to run several races and triathlons in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and I know the group does a great job helping sick children in New Hampshire. Over 90% of your donation goes directly to delivering a child's wish.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
