WHAT HAVE WE GOTTEN
OURSELVES INTO NOW?

On August 14th we will be rappelling 41 stories – that is 514 feet - down the side of the RainierTower in downtown Seattle.

Why are we doing this?
It’s all about a very special cause and some very special people. Special Olympics is about Special People. We are participating in this fundraiser for not just one of those Special People but for a whole group of them.

Our special person is a Special Olympian, Nigel Aspen. Nigel was one of the first of our neighbors to welcome us to our new home, six years ago. We are very close to his entire family. That’s him in the picture with us and our dear friend Don who is accompanying us down the Rainer Tower for this fundraiser.

Our group of special people is the Woodinville Wranglers. This is a group of Special Olympians that is sponsored by the City of Woodinville. Nigel has been a part of that group for many years. The Wranglers have carried the Woodinville name to many Olympics and that is why we are doing such a crazy thing!

Please help us continue to make the Special Olympics a special event for all of our Olympians.

THANKS SO MUCH,
STEVEN and RICK
