From June 21st to July 11th 2011 My climbing partner Tim Kohlbrenner and I will be climbing to the highest point of North America. Mt. McKinley, also known as Denali, is 20,320 feet high and considered one of the premier mountain climbs in the world. For 23 years US Army Special Operations, its Operators and their families gave me both the support and opportunities that allow me to succeed today. I climb not only for the “Big Picture” but for the friends I have personally lost in battle and all the Special Forces Operators who paid the ultimate price. With your support and sponsorship of our climb it will help me give back to the families of my fallen comrades through the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families. Your Donations will go directly to the Foundation. To learn more about the Foundation and follow our climb please visit www.specialops.org.
