What did I do to be here in a kennel? I try not to be sad in this kennel all day and all night, only to be taken out and walked by the kind staff and volunteers here at PAWSibilities®, Humane Society of Greater Akron. I get excited when visitors walk up and down the aisles. Pick me! Pick me! I can complete your family. Please adopt me. Will you be my forever family? Everyone here takes good care of me. I love that I can be off my leash sometimes outside! In the winter, I wish we had an indoor play area. Currently I am on the PAWSibilities®, Humane Society of Greater Akron Board, serving as Secretary. Even though I live in San Antonio (Texas) and Hudson (Ohio), I feel this organization is so important to Summit County. Where would all of these helpless, abused, neglected animals be without PAWSibilities®, Humane Society of Greater Akron? I love the success stories. When an animal comes in sick or injured, shy or afraid and the people here heal them and love them and prepare them for adoption. Adopted animals make the best pets. They are so appreciative! My very first pet was an adopted puppy when I was a little girl. My Mom took my sister and I to a local shelter, and we used our $15 allowance to purchase Astro, a shepard mix puppy. He was the best dog. Most of my pets have been adopted froom shelters. Currently I have a cat and a dog. Gus, my doberman mix is from a shelter and has been a fabulous family member for 12 years. When I get freed, I am going to go home and walk my dog, Gus!
