College Mentors established its Ivy Tech Community College Chapter in Indianapolis, IN during the 2005-2006 school year.  Fifteen Ivy Tech student mentors are paired in one-on-one relationships with fifteen first through fourth graders from 21st Century Charter School at Fall Creek,  Weekly activities on the campus rotate between community service, higher education and culture and diversity.  The mentor program exposes little buddies to the opportunities of higher education and engages mentors in community service.

2007-2008 Ivy Tech Chapter survey highlights:

• 91% of little buddies expressed a definite interest in going to college
• 89% of little buddies look up to their buddies
