Rob Ruisz's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my Polar Plunge fundraising page. Last year apparently wasn't enough to test the vitality of my heart function. Our team, last year, took second place in money raised at the event in Palatine. We only had 6 members on our team. The first place team had over 20 members and didn't raise much more than we did, so we did pretty good thanks to you.
I’m again collecting pledges from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else who wants to support the more than 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics Illinois! Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition.
To reward your generosity, I’m going to join over 3,600 people statewide who will voluntarily jump into freezing cold water in the middle of winter as we take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunges for Special Olympics Illinois.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to the LETR Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois.
Many thanks for those who donated last year, and for your donation this year– and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
