Last  year was  my first time riding in the Police Unity Tour in honor of my fallen brothers and sisters in law enforcement. I was amazed by the support of the public as we rode through the different cities and counties along the route from Virginia Beach to Washington . This year I, along with law enforcement officers from the United States as well as other parts of the world, will be riding in honor of 143 officers killed in 2006. This year the ride hits close to home with two of the fallen officers being from  Fairfax County . It will be a special honor to ride in memory of Detective Vicky Armel and Master Police Officer Michael E. Garbarino who both served with the Fairfax County Police Department.
