Hey everyone, it's Rob ...

  Thank you for visiting my webpage!  Most of you may not know, but my son Alex was recently diagnosed with a form of Autism. Like most people, my wife and I knew nothing about Autism until it directly affected him and our family. Like many parents, we thought Alex was just 'hyperactive',  'spoiled' or 'too hard to handle'. We often questioned our own parenting skills. After many tests and meetings with specialists, we learned the REAL cause of his behavior was in fact  Autism.

         ** 1 of every 110 kids have Autism, and 1 out of every 70 are males **

  In an effort to raise awareness & treatment of Autism, I've started this website to raise money for Community Autism Resources, Inc. - a local non-profit Autism Center who was VERY helpful and informative for myself & my wife.

  The money donated through Firstgiving is absolutely VITAL to Community Autism Reosurces, as the funds support the FREE services provided to over 2,000 families who have sons and daughters with an Autism Spectrum Disorder in over 85 cities and towns in Southeastern Mass. 

  Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. MasterCard, Visa, debit cards and other payment methods are accepted. ALL donations are tax-deductible, and it is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts which will include a 50-mile solo bike ride, with ALL proceeds going to children and families affected by Autism.
