By the time you read this, our event will be over - but we can still accept donations for a while ('till November this year).

Over the last few years, your donations via my page have really added up. I appreciate that. In fact, for eash of the last three years I've managed to bring in the most donations for an individual. I'm really proud of that.

I don't really have a story this year other than to say that over the last week or so, I've had to do considerable work on my car so that I can run it at this event. Such is the world of racing 40 year old cars. In any case, due to the time commitment to get the car ready, I had to miss the Jeff Gordon Challenge pledge runs - where this money usually "counts" from our racing perspective.

But that's okay in the "big picture".

I'm pretty passionate about trying to give back, and this is my chance. I have chosen to take part in this exciting fundraising event that is very special and important to me.
