July 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.
It is that time again and it looks like this is going to be the best Loop yet! We are changing it a little by going in reverse. We will start this year at the Firemans' Pub in Lake Oswego ( www.firehousepub.net). We will be able to enjoy some BBQ hamburgers donated by the Portland Firefighters Union L43 before a nice leasurily ride around Mt. Hood to The Dalles, OR. If you came with us last year you remember the first class service and comradery that we expericenced at the American Legion Hall and expect the same this year. Or next leg will be to Leavenworth, WA to enjoy some incredible scenery and do what all good Germans do in Bavaria. Our last leg crosses over the Cascades toward the Puget Sound where we will catch a boat in Edmonds WA to Kingston, WA and then a short strech to Silverdale, WA for our last night.
Below are the hotels that have been gracious enough to block a group of rooms at a substantial savings, just let them know that you are part of the SOWF ride and ask for the special rate. They will only honor the room/rate until 6/22/10 so do not wait until the last week to make up your mind.

I will try to use this page as our primary means of updating information as it comes in. Basically we are all about having fun, celebrating the best our country has to offer, and honoring those that have given all. Please get out your calender, mark out the dates and come along for a great ride. All bikes are welcome and the only requirement is that you are a Veteran or friend of a Veteran to participate. If you can only make part of the ride or meet us at one of the destinations please come on down. Lots of good fun and reestablishing lost contacts.
If you would like more information email us at http://www.nwloop@live.com

** I am sorry for any confusion that I may have caused if you see your name on the donation page and you have not made a pledge this year. I simply took last years page, changed the info and thought that I could start a new donation page. Not so, and needed to create a new page which is just above my pay grade. Hope you don't mind a recycled page.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
