Thank you for visiting my "Plunge" fundraising page. They say anyone with a little guts and a warm heart can take the "Plunge" and I am one of those folks. I'm collecting pledges from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else who wants to support Special Olympics Illinois athletes. Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in sports training and competition. To reward your generosity, On February 23rd and 24th, I'm going to join 24 other crazy and Some Unbelievable Plungers Enter Repeatedly people who will voluntarily jump into freezing cold Lake Michigan, once an hour for twenty four hours, in the middle of winter as we take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Super Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. If you have ever seen a Special Olympic Event you know why I'm doing this.  The Special Olympians have been an inspiration to me since I became a police officer almost 26 years ago.  Hopefully I can be an inspiration to you to donate to this most worthy cause.  I will be representing the Orland Park Police Department, the Orland Park Police FOP Lodge #13, and the Orland Park Law Enforcement Organization.

Since Special Olympics Illinois is a non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible.
