Thank you for visiting my Super Polar Plunge fundraising page. They say anyone with a little guts and a warm heart can take the Plunge and I am one of those folks. I’m collecting pledges from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else who wants to support the more than 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics Illinois! Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition.

To reward your generosity, I’m going to join over 3,600 people statewide who will voluntarily jump into freezing cold water in the middle of winter as we take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunges for Special Olympics Illinois.  I'm hoping you'll be extra generous because this isn't just your normal, everyday polar plunge.  This is the 'Super Polar Plunge'.  In other words, about 20 other crazy individuals and I are going to jump into the freezing cold waters of Lake Michigan on the Nortwestern University beach 24 TIMES IN 24 HOURS!!!  That's once an hour folks.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated!  Because of people like you, every year I've done this we have surpassed the goal of $2500.00.  Please help me to do this again.
