For the 5th time, I will be taking place in the Boston Marathon running for Team Deloitte to raise money for Brigham and Women's Hospital.  Our Team Deloitte funds raise funds for a very special purpose, to raise money to benefit the Ellen Gabriel Breast Cancer Fund. Ellen was a partner in the Boston office of Deloitte and the Firms' first leader of the Women's Initiative. Ellen lost her battle with breast cancer. Since her passing, our team has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support a Fund set up in her name. All of these funds are used in the local community to provide at-risk women and women in need free screenings. In addition, the funds are used to educate these women about breast cancer and to offer counseling. It goes without saying that this is a great cause. Please consider donating to my fundraising efforts.
