Hello . . . I've been expecting you!

No joke, I've had a couple of illnesses and injuries - it's March 2 and the event is March 29, 2008 in Galveston, Texas.  The above referenced maladies slowed me down just before Christmas I was jogging  swimming and cycling every week - I am back in the groove, but I really need your support. 

By sponsoring me you will assist me by contributing to my true passion,  my commitment for making this world a better place for the kids.  We forget how vulnerable they are, you know children are abandoned and neglected in our own country as well as internationally for a variety of circumstances such as natural disasters (Katrina), war, and parental incarceration. There are 2.1 million children who have a parent who is incarcerated, that 8 out of 10 with at least one parent in jail will later end up in prison themselves, and that these children are twice as likely as other children to experience abuse and display violent disruptive behavior.  These children are likely to be beaten, raped and molested. Some engage in illegal activities and self-mutilation.  COCI makes a difference.
