Spleen's NaNoWriMo Fundraising Page
Those of you who know me know that NaNoWriMo is a big part of my life. This will be my fifth year doing NaNo. I was a community organizer (Municipal Liaison) for NaNo in Fort Collins for 3 years. Now I'm in Denver and looking for a different way to give back to this organization that has given me some of the best friends and memories of my life.
On November 15th, I'll be joining a bunch of crazed, dedicated novelists in San Francisco for the National Novel Writing Month's November Write-a-thon, aka the Night of Writing Dangerously. Our mission: to explore strange new novels by writing as many words as we can over six hours of food, drinks, and fun, and to raise a little bit of support for this program.
All the money donated on this page will go directly to the Office of Letters and Light, the fine people who have brought you NaNoWriMo--completely free of charge--every year for the last ten years. Please help me support literacy, writing, and creativity for kids and adults across the world. Even $5 helps!
Incentives for donating:
Everyone donating at least $10 will receive a haiku written by me on the topic of their choice.
People donating $25 or more will receive a Shakespearean-style sonnet written by me on the topic of their choice.
I will send these thank-you poems by email or by a postcard from San Francisco when I get there, whichever you prefer.

Thanks again!
