Robyn Belsky's Fundraising Page
Hi All,
I invite you to help me raise money and awareness for the Pine Street Inn of Boston, New England's largest resource for homeless men and women, by pledging to the 2nd Annual Pine Street Inn Knit-A-Thon. Though best known for its emergency shelters, Pine Street became one of the first organizations to implement supportive housing for homeless individuals. Today, Pine Street now has close to 500 residents living in 30 houses and sites throughout Boston and Brookline. They anticipate adding another 151 units in the development pipeline.
Many Boston area knitters and I will join together Sunday, November 9th to assemble our 9 x 9 inch pre-knitted squares into blankets, which will be presented to the tenants of the Pine Street Inn residences. Please support me in my quest to provide a home (and a housewarming gift) for formerly homeless people.
Thank you in advance for your help and I invite you to visit the Pine Street Inn's website at www.pinestreetinn.org for more information.
With thanks,
Robyn
