Hello to my family and friends!

I am so glad that you are on my page! If you know me at all you know my heart for Africa. You know that I can't even speak of the children there without tearing up, and that my heart yearns to make their little lives one ounce happier any way I can. First and foremost is their need for Christ, but there are so many needs that trail behind. Things such as a shelter, clean water, cures from their diseases, and literally clothes for their little backs.

I remember so vividly being in the worst slum area in Kenya...walking through it was so bad that taking pictures would have been rude. Children were running around, playing in their own filth (sometimes among their own excrament) naked. Why are they naked you ask? Imagine not even having the funds or ability to own clothes....and then the orphans....Just take a couple minutes to imagine.

That's where my heart comes forward with this plee for your help. I am running a marathon to raise money through Word Vision for these very children who are dying of diseases that are completely curable. Please help me to help them and I promise to practice!
