Hello once again. It’s that time to kick off this year’s annual fundraiser for Hopewell Cancer Support. Everyone is saying it is a most worthwhile endeavor, and it certainly is. These folks are super heroes, and need our help to continue providing service free to anyone who comes to their facility! The time and effort and personal sacrifices they make to assist, help, put together programs for everyone and all ages seeking answers to the questions, “Why me? And, where do I turn now?” Simply put, there is a need, they care, and they are super stars in my eyes. Kris Zipin, Roger’s wife, the namesake for our team, has found salvation and comfort at HopeWell, and she even has me doing yoga there on Saturday mornings. I can personally vouch for how great the instructor is, and highly recommend the class!

Our picture this year is of our two co-captains, Roger Levy and Ellen Bonta; we are standing in front of our meet here sign, freezing. Yep, we get out pretty early to help in any way we can, and to greet and cheer our team on, and it was cold last year. Please join us this year, we have ordered warmer weather for this year’s event! If you’re already booked for that time and day, join our team anyway and support us from the comfort of your home or wherever you are scheduled to be. You can even make a donation through this site, which counts too, and will be much appreciated. For the past two years our team has come in third, third largest with team members, and third in fund raising. This is our third year and we have high hopes of taking over second place. Your assistance is needed for us to achieve our goal. Bring your neighbors, friends and family; you can even start your own team. We encourage that!
