With the holidays fast approaching, The Magic Sock podcast would like to help raise money for the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Alex passed away at the age of 8 having died of cancer. At 4 years of age, she decided to start a lemonade stand and give the money she earned to find a cure for all kids with cancer.

And here's where you can help: The Magic Sock podcast would like to help support this cause. The next time you go to the store or purchase cards online take a moment to give a small amount to help find a cure for kids who have cancer. Over the last few years my family and I have supported this cause and have made several donations. Now I ask that you find it in your heart to do the same.

Magic: The Gathering might have nothing to do with cancer, but think about all the kids (and adults) out there who like Magic and are sick with cancer. Here's a sobering fact: One out of three people will have cancer in their lifetime. Think about that. The next time you're at a Magic tournament or playing with your friends. That's a lot of people who will become sick with cancer.
