Hello Everyone,
I'm happy to announce that I will be running the 2010 Boston Marathon. I will be running for the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI) Team. I decided to run for MEEI after learning about the kind of work they do.
MEEI has been around since 1824 with the mission "that the deaf may hear and the blind may see". MEEI positively impacts over 200,000 lives in our community every year, with almost 20,000 surgeries performed. They offer a wide range of services within the Ear Nose Throat (ENT) & Eye specialties, allowing those born with disabilities to live productive healthy lives, those injured in serious accidents a second chance.
My goal is to raise $5240 ($200 for every mile that I am planning to run). I think its important to give back to community, and support an organization that helps so many people in a substantial way. I hope you will support me in this cause.
