Thank you for visiting my Special Olympics South Carolina Personal Fundraising Page. I am raising money for Special Olympics because I believe in their mission to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for over 21,000 children and adults with Intellectual Disabilities throughout South Carolina. Each athlete has remarkable gifts and abilities, and each one deserves a chance to show the world what he or she can do. I have been working with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics now over 6 years and I have been inspired by the courage and determination of each and everyone of these athletes. THEY ARE TRULY THE HEROES. That is why several hundred Law Enforcement Officers including myself are plunging into the cold Atlantic Ocean on February 4, 2012. We are rasing awareness and funds for LETR/Special Olympics. We may not be the smartest group of people in the world, be we just want to do what we can to help these Athletes.
