It’s that time of year again; we are walking to support research for new treatments for Epilepsy. Epilepsy is a seizure disorder that can result in various types of seizures and can impact a person's life indefinitely. According to the Epilepsy Foundation, almost 3 million people in the United States suffer from epilepsy and other seizure disorders. By the age of 75, about 3 percent of Americans will develop epilepsy. We hope to help our loved ones and/or friends who are affected by promoting research for new medications and or cures to the disorder.
