Karma Rescue's 2009 Fundraising Page
PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR 2009 FUNDRAISING GOAL!
Karma Rescue was founded in 2003 and has rescued, rehabilitated and placed over 1,000 dogs from the shelter system. In addition to rescuing and rehoming dogs, Karma has launched a number of programs in response to the crisis of pet overpopulation including:
Karma Rescue’s Education Program visits public libraries and schools all over Los Angeles county to educate today’s youth about Animal Rescue, Adoption vs. acquiring animals from breeders, Spay/Neuter and Volunteering. We also touch on more serious issues like Dog Fighting, Dog Tethering, and Dog Abuse.
Spay/Neuter Programs are set-up in low-income areas to provide spaying/neutering free of charge. At some of the clinics we see close to 100 dogs a day!
The Cody Fund was established to care for and rehabilitate those dogs with special needs or that require intense medical care whether it is the result of neglect, abuse or congenital issues. Often times these dogs are immediately euthanized at shelters because there are not enough funds to cover their care.
Foster & Guardian Angel Programs are a vital part of the rescue process. Volunteers provide a nurturing atmosphere of shelter, exercise, companionship, socialization and love. These volunteers aid the dog in the transition from shelter to home and enable us to save more lives.
We could not continue to do what we do without your help. Karma Rescue is a non-profit 501c3, tax deductible organization. We run COMPLETELY off charitable contributions.
Any amount you can donate, big or small, will go directly to rescuing dogs from shelters and finding them forever homes.
