The "Help Ginger's Friends" Fundraising Page
During our search for Ginger, one of Karma's beloved dogs who was lost for nearly a month, we met and rescued 12 dogs and one cat.
When Ginger went missing, volunteers, friends and family looked tirelessly for her all over the county. After 30 days to the day, Ginger wound up in the Downey County Shelter. We picked her up on the eve of March 16th. She was caught on the street, far from where she was lost, with a beautiful Rottweiler (who is now a part of the Karma family too!). Someone must have picked her up and moved her to that area. She looks like she has been through a lot in the 30 days. Luckily we were able to move her to a foster home where she got a bath, a good meal, and finally slept a good night after 30 days.
This has been a very intense journey with mixes of feelings of hope, faith, love, dedication, sadness, desperation, exhaustion, and depression, but we made it through. Along this journey Ginger is responsible for saving 12 dogs. 12 dog's lives were saved whether it was us finding them as strays as we were looking, whether it was dogs claimed to be Ginger but when we got there they were not, dogs we came across that were not treated well and we bought from people, and dogs being turned into the shelter while we were there looking for Ginger.
Karma Rescue is asking for donations to help offset some of the costs of the other dogs saved in the process. Ginger thanks you and Karma Rescue thanks you.
