Priscilla joined the Karma Rescue family this March under pretty bad, although not uncommon, circumstances.

Priscilla is an adorable 6 month old white Pit Bull mix with one blue eye and one brown eye. She is also partially deaf. Priscilla was dumped at the Pasadena Humane Society by her former owner. She was completely filthy and malnourished. Her former owner butchered her ears without any anesthetic or medication and used dental floss to try to stitch them up. We fear that he cut her ears so short so he could use her as for fighting. Often times dogs with disabilities are used as baiting dogs because they are at a disadvantage. Priscilla has a long road to recovery ahead of her but she should be just fine.

Karma Rescue is trying to raise money for her vet bills for her ears and to get her time with a trainer who specializes in working with deaf/partially deaf dogs. This girl unbelievably sweet and loving considering she has suffered such abuse. We want nothing more than to make her happy and healthy and find her a forever home where she can finally experience what it is like to be a dog.
