Thank you for visiting our fund-raising page.  It's hard to believe this is in fact the 5th year that we have helped raise funds for down syndrome research. And that Anna herself will be 5 years old in December!

While it is hard to go back year after year and ask for money again, it's also really nice to read about how attitudes toward down syndrome and other disabilities have changed over the years.  There are people in my generation, who had siblings they never really knew, because people didn't recognize what these folks could in fact do as part of society, rather than hidden away.  And while we have made a lot of progress, there is still a lot that can be done - and the Down Syndrome Research and Treatment Foundation is dedicated to helping make life better for Anna and her peers.

Please join me once again in helping raise money for this cause. I know the price of basics like milk and gas are hurting everyone's budgets, but if you are still treating yourself to an occasional Starbucks, you can afford a few dollars for this worthy cause.
